About Us

Marie Secrist, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California. She is trained in providing evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Specifically, Dr. Secrist is a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) therapist and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist.

Her primary research interests include trauma symptomatology and trauma informed care. Additionally, she has experience as a statistics consultant for behavioral health research. Dr. Secrist attended Azusa Pacific University for her undergraduate education and received her Masters and Doctorate of Philosophy in Psychology at Alliant International University - San Diego. As a mom herself, she understands the challenges and joys of parenthood.
